LIVE RECORDING of up to 16 tracks
1. We can take direct sends from your mixer using the channel direct outs or unused inserts. This way, there is no interruption to the mix you send to the audience or to the monitor mixes to the stage.
2. ATR can run sound using our mixer and your PA and monitors, while still recording the event. Up to 6 monitor sends are available from the board.
LIVE SOUND
1. As noted in #2 above, we can mix FOH/monitors AND record the event or performance. Additional recording after the event is also an option.*
2. We can mix the event using our PA/monitors, without recording.
3. We can mix the event using your PA/monitors, using your mixer or ours. Either way, it sure beats having to guess what the audience hears when mixing from the stage!
Recording-related bookings include a CD mix of the recorded event - not just the raw tracks, but a "sweetened" mix. Typical turnaround time is 2-3 days. You will not sound like "the band in a metal can" that is common among many live recordings. Check out some samples on the ATR Community page.

*If you're interested in an "enhanced" mix with overdubbing or re-mixing at a later date (c'mon, like it hasn't been done before - anyone remember 'Kiss Alive' or many other so-called 'live' albums?), we offer that service as well. Overdubs usually take place at the ATR project studio, which brings us to......
RECORDING AWAY FROM THE STAGE
Projects at ATR encompass anything from vocal and instrument overdubs to complete album projects, all done in a relaxed atmosphere. We offer our project studio clients their choice of SONAR and Pro Tools DAWS. Recording at your location might be an option, so let's discuss your needs and budget.
